Terms and Conditions
**The following Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases by you from www.cutemaps.co.uk via the checkout on this website, via email or via the order form. You should read them through carefully.

You will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions by placing an order with us. Please read, understand and agree to these Terms and Conditions carefully. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not place an order with us.

This website, found under www.cutemaps.co.uk, is owned and operated by Cute Maps (Soletrader) and references to “we”, “us” and “our” means Cute Maps. References to “the customer”, “you”, and “your” means the person completing the order form or contact form on this website.

1. Order Process & Website
​
Once you place your order via the checkout and the supplied order forms on the website, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your request. This does not accept the order, only acknowledges the details have been received. Accepted payment methods are Paypal, Personal Cheque, Postal Order or a Bank Transfer. Once payment is made in full, a receipt will be supplied to confirm the payment. The order will only commence once all essential details have been submitted and full payment has been made. Once an order form is received we consider this your full instruction to proceed with a design proof. Turnaround for the proof for Cute Map and Cute Path design orders is up to 14 days unless the Fast Track service is purchased which involves a proof within 5 days.For Matching Stationery Orders, the proof turnaround time is 7 days unless the Fast Track service is purchased which involves a proof within 3 days. A contract between you and Cute Maps for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, confirmed, paid and dispatched (via post or email) to you.

Amendments following the proof: Note prices are kept reasonable as they are calculated on design times attributed to an initial proof and, if required, a second proof with small reasonable tweaks. Therefore, large redesign requests, additional design requests and lengthy changes once a proof is issued incur the additional design fees. For 2021, our design fees are £48 per hour. Shifting and resizing also incurs additional costs. Small reasonable tweaks are free of charge. Small reasonable tweaks are generally: spelling corrections, wording tweaks, font tweaks, colouring to motifs, small design tweaks to motifs at the discretion of Cute Maps.

It is the customer’s responsibility to fully check the proof for any errors and misspellings. Cute Maps is not responsible for any errors after final approval is received from the customer. If errors are discovered after the artwork has been approved and production has begun, the client is responsible for all costs including reprinting.

Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice. A delivery charge will be added to your order value if your delivery address is outside of the UK. Please see the FAQs page for further information on delivery and delivery charges.

We make every effort to display through this website all items in our current range. We aim to fulfil orders in given time periods outlined in our FAQ section and on product pages. However, due to busy periods and reliance of third parties for printing etc, occasionally an item may be delayed and your order could be delayed. By agreeing to our Terms & Conditions you accept that Cute Maps is not liable for any costs incurred resulting from the delay of your Cute Maps order.

2. Method of Payment
​
Cute Maps accept online payment in a secure environment by Bank Transfer and Paypal (via which most major credit and debit cards are accepted). You will not be charged a credit card or debit card fee. All transactions are shown in pounds sterling (£).

3. UK, EU & Worldwide Delivery
​
Design only orders are dispatched to the email submitted on the Order Form.
Delivery charges are outlined on each of the Product Pages.
World and European Delivery: Cost varies. 2 – 10 working day delivery dependent on Zone.
By accepting our terms and conditions you accept that Cute Maps is not responsible for any any loss or damage (direct or indirect) to your order.

4. Cancellation & Returns Policy
​
The customer can cancel the order within 24hrs of payment if Cute Maps have not explicitly communicated that design has begun. Once payment is received, the order is considered confirmed and the design process begins. Payment is non-refundable once received by Cute Maps.
​
If an order is placed and Cute Maps does not receive payment or any correspondence from the customer within 2 weeks after the initial Order Confirmation email is sent we will consider your order cancelled. Returns are not accepted due to the lengthy design times and highly personalised nature of Cute Maps design. If you are unsatisfied wit your order upon receipt of print or digital files, we advise to contact us and we will enedeavour to rectify your concerns.

5. Goods Compliance
​
At the time of publication, we attempt to be as accurate as possible when describing products on the website. However, to the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee that product descriptions, colours or other content available on the website are accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free.
​
In addition, representations of colours are approximate, due to the limitations of computer monitor settings, photographic and printing processes. We cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.
​
All measurements and weights are approximate.
​
All designs created are intended to serve as an artistic rendering and so map designs will not be created accurately to scale. By agreeing to our terms and conditions the customer accepts this.

6. Limitations of Liability
​
While Cute Maps makes reasonable attempts to ensure that the information on this website is accurate and up to date, it does not give any warranty as to its accuracy or completeness and Cute Maps will not be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.

Cute Maps shall not be responsible nor liable for your use of any other websites which you may access via links within this website. Cute Maps do not control these websites and is not responsible for their content. Any such links are provided merely as a service to users of this website and their inclusion in this website does not constitute an endorsement by or affiliation with Cute Maps. Cute Maps do not guarantee that your use of this website will be interruption or error free and will not be responsible for any disruption, loss of or corruption of any material in transit, or loss of or corruption of material or data when downloaded onto any computer system.

Cute Maps will not be liable to you or be alleged to be in breach of the contract with you by reason of any delay in performing, or any failure to perform, any of its obligations in relation to the products ordered by you if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond its reasonable control.

Cute Maps does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members, directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation.

The extent of any liability of Cute Maps arising under the contract for the supply of Goods to you shall not exceed the price of the Goods, except as expressly provided in these Terms and Conditions.

Cute Maps may assign or transfer any of its rights or sub contract any of its obligations under these terms and conditions to any third party. You may not assign or transfer any of your rights or sub contract any of your obligations under these terms and conditions except with the specific permission in writing of Cute Maps.

7. Copyright & Trademark
​
Any artwork, images, or text supplied and/or designed by Cute Maps on behalf of the customer, will remain the property of Cute Maps and/or it’s suppliers.
​
Copyright breaches include, but are not limited to: reuse of design/images for a separate purpose than that of the original order without consent, cropping designs for use in other stationery or items without consent, altering designs for reuse for a separate purpose without consent. Please contact us prior to considering any of these to avoid pursuance.

All copyright, design rights and intellectual property rights existing in our design and products, and in the images, text and design of this website including pictures, designs, logos, photographs, text written and other materials are and will remain the property of Cute Maps. Any violation of these rights will be pursued vigorously.

8. Law & Territory
​
These Terms and Conditions and your use of our website are governed in accordance to the law in England and Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh court. This does not affect your statutory rights.

These Terms and Conditions and website have been designed for use within the United Kingdom and under UK law. Whilst Cute Maps is happy to consider requests for products and enquiries from outside the United Kingdom, Cute Maps give no warranty, express or implied that the use of this website or the placing of any order through this website from outside the UK complies with any applicable non-UK laws or regulations. Accordingly, any products or promotions not permitted under your local law are not offered to you.

9. Prices and Taxes
​
All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and where appropriate are inclusive of UK sales tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being sent to a member state of the EU then the selling price will include VAT at the current rate and your transaction will be in pounds sterling (£). The current rate of VAT is 20%. At present Cute Maps is not required to charge VAT.
